Description
Every time I drove by this scene I craved to paint it. Finally I pulled into the driveway and asked Joe if I could do a painting of his barn. He said it was all right so I sat in my car and did a sketch of the scene in ink. While I typically like to paint quickly and get a spontaneous feel to the work I was more careful with this piece and spent a lot of time painting it. I drove by the scene several times to help me get it right. I still own the original.
