Description
Years ago I went to England with the intent of learning to do watercolors and hopefully capture the experience in paint. For my first painting I used my Chinese watercolor set that only had black and red in it. I was in my mother's home town of Runcorn in Cheshire and I chose Halton Castle as my first subject. On the walk up to it I stopped in a comfortable place and did this watercolor.
