Description
I was on my way to hear some friends playing the the Springwater Tavern in Nashville, Tn. I stopped at this scene and sketched while sitting in my car. I didn't have my watercolors handy when I went to paint it so I borrowed a set of watercolors that were opaque. It's good to change mediums to challenge yourself. You don't want to get to the point where you are on automatic pilot or go by a formula. Even in Kung Fu they teach it is not good to have a favorite weapon. For the same reason I'm sure.
